Our​ ​Finisterre​ ​long​ ​socks​ ​are​ ​knitted​ ​in​ ​1ply​ ​Wool​ ​by​ ​Hand.​ ​They​ ​are​ ​knitted​ ​in​ ​bands​ ​of​ ​traditional​ ​Fair​ ​Isle​ ​patterns.​ ​
The​ ​knitters​ ​are​ ​given​ ​a​ ​selection​ ​of​ ​colours​ ​to​ ​use​ ​and​ ​are​ ​left​ ​to​ ​their​ ​own​ ​creative​ ​devices​ ​so​ ​although​ ​there​ ​will​ ​always​ ​be​ ​a​ ​primary​ ​colour,​ ​patterns​ ​and​ ​sequence​ ​of​ ​colours​ ​may​ ​vary​ ​slightly​ ​from​ ​that​ ​shown.​ ​​ ​The​ ​tops​ ​of​ ​the​ ​socks​ ​have​ ​a​ ​deep​ ​two​ ​by​ ​two​ ​rib​ ​cuff.
They​ ​are​ ​great​ ​to​ ​wear​ ​around​ ​the​ ​house​ ​or​ ​even​ ​in​ ​bed​ ​for​ ​extra​ ​warmth.​ ​Wear​ ​them​ ​as​ ​an​ ​extra​ ​layer​ ​inside​ ​your​ ​wellies​ ​when​ ​you're​ ​in​ ​the​ ​garden​ ​and​ ​they​ ​will​ ​keep​ ​your​ ​feet​ ​warm​ ​and​ ​toasty.
Please​ ​note​ ​that​ ​they​ ​are​ ​not​ ​slippers​ ​or​ ​suitable​ ​for​ ​use​ ​instead​ ​of​ ​other​ ​footwear​ ​They​ ​are​ ​best​ ​suited​ ​for​ ​light​ ​wear​ ​around​ ​the​ ​home​ ​and​ ​are​ ​often​ ​worn​ ​over​ ​a​ ​normal​ ​pair​ ​of​ ​socks.

Our​ ​socks​ ​generally​ ​suit​ ​average​ ​women's​ ​feet​ ​size​ ​UK​ ​4-7,​ ​EU​ ​37-41,​ ​US​ ​6.5-9.5
However,​ ​because​ ​our​ ​socks​ ​are​ ​hand​ ​made​ ​no​ ​two​ ​pairs​ ​are​ ​exactly​ ​alike.​ ​There​ ​may​ ​be​ ​some​ ​variation​ ​in​ ​sizing​ ​so​ ​to​ ​ensure​ ​the​ ​best​ ​fit​ ​any​ ​information​ ​you​ ​can​ ​give​ ​us​ ​about​ ​the​ ​size​ ​of​ ​the​ ​persons​ ​feet​ ​the​ ​socks​ ​are​ ​intended​ ​will​ ​be​ ​used​ ​by​ ​us​ ​to​ ​select​ ​the​ ​best​ ​individual​ ​fit​ ​we​ ​can.
