This​ ​little​ ​dish​ ​grates​ ​garlic​ ​that​ ​is​ ​as​ ​spreadable​ ​as​ ​soft​ ​butter.​ ​Perfect​ ​for​ ​sauces,​ ​soups,​ ​stews,​ ​marinades,​ ​garlic​ ​bread,​ ​garlic​ ​butter.​ ​Spread​ ​it​ ​on​ ​roasted​ ​meats​ ​for​ ​true​ ​Mediterranean​ ​cuisine.​ ​Add​ ​EVOO​ ​(extra​ ​virgin​ ​olive​ ​oil)​ ​for​ ​a​ ​delectable​ ​dipping​ ​oil​ ​for​ ​your​ ​favorite​ ​crusty​ ​bread.

Each​ ​dish​ ​is​ ​hand​ ​sculpted​ ​from​ ​smooth​ ​stoneware​ ​clay​ ​and​ ​glazed​ ​in​ ​the​ ​color​ ​of​ ​your​ ​choice.​ ​The​ ​texture​ ​beautifully​ ​breaks​ ​through​ ​the​ ​glaze​ ​to​ ​reveal​ ​the​ ​design.​ ​

As​ ​with​ ​all​ ​my​ ​handmade​ ​pottery...every​ ​piece​ ​has​ ​its​ ​own​ ​unique​ ​handmade​ ​character​ ​and​ ​may​ ​have​ ​slightly​ ​different​ ​sizes,​ ​shapes​ ​and​ ​color​ ​variations.​ ​I​ ​never​ ​use​ ​molds​ ​and​ ​make​ ​each,​ ​one​ ​at​ ​a​ ​time.​ ​I​ ​always​ ​use​ ​lead​ ​free​ ​glaze​ ​&​ ​high​ ​fire​ ​in​ ​my​ ​kiln.​ ​All​ ​my​ ​dishes​ ​are​ ​food,​ ​dishwasher​ ​and​ ​microwave​ ​safe​ ​but​ ​hand​ ​washing​ ​is​ ​always​ ​recommended.​ ​Each​ ​piece​ ​is​ ​signed​ ​Back​ ​Bay​ ​Pottery​ ​and​ ​my​ ​initials.

*​ ​The​ ​Robins​ ​Egg​ ​glaze​ ​has​ ​some​ ​glaze​ ​variations​ ​that​ ​include​ ​some​ ​speckling.​ ​This​ ​is​ ​an​ ​aesthetic​ ​element​ ​of​ ​the​ ​Robins​ ​Egg​ ​glaze​ ​that​ ​we​ ​love.​ ​We​ ​try​ ​to​ ​make​ ​sure​ ​that​ ​this​ ​represented​ ​in​ ​the​ ​images​ ​on​ ​our​ ​shop​ ​so​ ​that​ ​it​ ​isn’t​ ​a​ ​surprise!
